What is your Style?

Our style tends to be a combination of journalistic and contemporary, we love capturing those moments at a wedding that portray the real emotion of the day.  We prefer natural candid images.  We also like the opportunity to have sometime with the Bride and Groom to cover the contemporary style shots.  We will ultimately present you with pictures that tell the story of your day, from the bride getting ready to the first and sometimes the last dance.

What does “journalistic” and “contemporary” mean?

Journalistic is a documentary style that captures the story of the day in pictures; it is completely unobtrusive in fact you will hardly notice us.  Journalistic produces natural looking life like pictures that are void of that staged look.  We try to capture those moments in life that truly define a person or event.

A Contemporary style means that for a short while we will obtain some creative images, these are the kind of images that you may have seen in all those bridal magazines that you bought.  While being slightly more structured, the emphasis is still on fun, from moody romantic shots to fun and creative we will be sure to get some stunning shots for you.

Does that mean you don’t do groups?

Not at all, at your initial wedding consultation we will discuss the various groups that you want covered, this is your big day if you prefer to have a lot of group shots then that is not a problem.

Do you always have a pre wedding consultation?

We like to but we know how hectic things can get before the wedding.  If you don’t have the time we can simple have a chat over the phone.

Where do we meet?

We will meet you anywhere you like, sometimes at your houses, sometimes at ours.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, when you commission us a 20% deposit is required, with the balance due 2 weeks before the big day.

How many pictures do you take?

That depends a lot on what happens on the day, but this can vary from 200 to 500 pictures.

How soon can I see my pictures?

Whilst you are on honeymoon we will be working hard at getting a selection of your pictures ready.  Typically 4 to 6 weeks after the wedding you will be able to view the initial proofs.

If I order an album how long will it take?

Once you have select the images and approve the layout you can expect to wait between 6 -8 weeks.
